Final camera craft of 2019 – Photographing birds and animals

Wednesday 13th November

7pm – 9pm McAlpines Pavillion

Sandra Fleet will give tips on:

Taking Great Nature Shots – well at least trying to!! We will cover
Settings, Technique, Framing, Gear, and what to think about when
Hunting and Shooting.

Bring:

  • Pen and paper
  • Camera
  • Lenses – longest telephoto, macro and/or extension tubes (will do
close ups only if we have time but definitely a long lens)
  • USB stick if you want a copy of the presentation (it is pretty
comprehensive, so might be easier than taking notes :-))

In 2018, RPS was third in the Trenna Packer competition which is the
national club comp for Natural History. This was a big moment for RPS
and we would love to do even better in this competition in the future.

We want to provide more encouragement to members and strengthen this
area, therefore having a greater choice of images to choose from when
we enter the Trenna Packer.

Summer is the perfect time to be out shooting nature, especially
insects, so come along to learn a few things and get out shooting –
what else have you got to do with the RPS summer break coming up?
