Time: Meet at 3:30 pm outside the foyer of Christchurch Art Gallery, Montreal Street. Pay parking is available under the building, (open to midnight). Free Parking at Gardens in Park Terrace entrance.
Sunsets at 5:02 pm so you can shoot through evening light into night scenes.
Purpose of the Trip.- To encourage entries for our Architecture Competition entries close October 6th. Within a four-block radius there are over 200 examples of recent and past architecture, ranging from the Gothic Revival to post-quake Buildings.

A small torch
A plastic bag to cover your camera in the event of rain
Gloves, Warm jacket
A light tripod
I recommend you view https://openchch.nz to view the guide for 46 buildings that are open to the public on Saturday 15th and 16th of May. You may take advantage of viewing inside some notable buildings.
