Hello everyone. Typing this straight after attending committee meeting. Exciting things to share. Please read carefully!!!
Events
Tuesday June 2 – Club meeting – welcome back
We are going to hold this meeting at the clubrooms seeing we are allowed to meet in groups of up to 100. There will be hand sanitizer at the door and a register to sign. If you do not wish to use pens provided please bring your own. There will be no refreshments served either but feel free to bring a bottle of water or coffee/tea in your own mug. We will also be cleaning down the chairs and door handles etc before the evening begins. Chairs will be spaced accordingly. Please be aware of social distancing. There will also be no raffles just yet.
Planned format for evening
- welcome – this will include Wally award and virtual chocolate fish (so share your successes)
- suitcase challenge results – which was “acorn” Who is up for the next challenge?
- we are also going to be running a photo comp for the evening (similar to the first of the year) Theme “Best lockdown photo” please submit your entries via the website before Monday 1st June 11.30pm
- C grade confidence builder will also be viewed with feedback given on the night
So everyone who attends has knowledge – The evening will also be live-streamed. It will be set up in a way that you will not be part of the stream. If you wish to watch the live stream instructions on how to access this will be on the website calendar sometime from Saturday onwards. So check there for details
The evening will not go as long as normal but it will fabulous to start getting back into the swing and having some social time
Sunday 7th June – field trip to Travis Wetlands
Travis Wetlands is on Beach Road, Burwood

Tuesday 16th June – Club night – Portrait judged
This will be helped in the clubrooms and results will be published via website after this. We also envisage having this live-streamed if the first club meeting goes successfully
Wednesday 17th June – Black and White entries close
Entries close 11.30pm
A reminder of the rules
4.4 Black and White Any image presented as a monotone. This includes, but is not exclusive to, toning such as sepia. NOTE: Some external competitions will not accept colour tones such as sepia and the image must be black & white, so bear this in mind when entering outside competitions. No editing restrictions.

Natural History has been judged and the results have been published on the website. There were so many awesome images submitted! Big thanks to our judge Pol Syrett.
